Panasonic Life Solutions Turkey, as leading provider of electrical switch and socket sector, developed VİKO automatic fuses which bring high confidence to the buildings due to its specific design and quality.
VİKO automatic fuses, which protect the electrical installation against excessive current and short circuits, also control the system. Drawing attention with their body structure designed for high cutting off capacity, they also save energy with low power consumption. It also includes connection terminals with IP20 class high protection against hand contact. The 12-plate cell to extinguish the effective arc and AgC4 contact structure for long life are also among the features of VIKO automatic fuses.
The fuses which perform thermal protection by cutting off the circuit in case of overload, activate the bimetal element mechanism that is bended under the effect of high temperature. This allows the main contacts to be separated. At the same time, in case of high currents or short circuit, the piston inside the coil triggers the mechanism during the magnetic changes and cuts off the circuit. So the magnetic shielding starts.
VİKO automatic fuses can be mounted on any surface, even without a DIN rail. All types of busbar connections are available. Fast connection is achieved while providing aesthetics in the panel with safe assembly and without wiring. With the protected terminals, it is possible to fit the cable exactly to the terminal. It also doesn’t allow faulty cable connections and prevents arc formation in the installation. In addition, the line with the problem can be easily understood through the fuse and it is easier to find the fault. Thanks to the warning indicator on the fuse, the latch position can be seen easily. This feature minimizes the downtime. In multiple connections, it doesn’t allow the fuses to contact each other’s cables, thus protects the installation by preventing the risk of arcing and short circuit that may occur. On the other hand, it offers user options with the suitability of the mounting location by the auxiliary accessory.
