Turkish Cargo brought together representatives of the Frankfurt health and pharmaceutical sector on the “Pharma Day” panel.
The top managers of cargo agencies holding 80% of the world pharmaceutical market attended the organization, which was completely organized by the Turkish Cargo sales team, and a first for our Corporation.
After Central and Southern Europe Regional Director Mr. Tarık Parlak’s opening speech, Chief Cargo Officer Mr. TurhanÖzen took the stage, and declared that Turkish Cargo’s vision and growth trend would continue and shared the aim of Turkish Cargo to be one of the top 5 air cargo companies in the sector by the year 2023.
Noting that one of the primary objectives among the products carried is to advance in special cargo, and especially pharmaceuticals to the attendees, Mr. Özen stated the importance of the opinions, suggestions, and the feedback as a result of such meetings as business partners for Turkish Cargo on its way to growth and achievement of objectives, and emphasized that it is the right time to progress together.
The panel continued with Turkish Cargo corporate presentations under the respective titles of “Pharma in Germany” and “Germany Offices,” after which Special Cargo Manager Mr. Bahadır Büyükkaymaz briefed the participants about Turkish Cargo vision and investments in pharmaceutical sector, and completed with a workshop, where attendees participated with interactive exchange of ideas, moderated by Chief Cargo Officer Mr. TurhanÖzen.
As the participants stated that the facility built in Istanbul and the areas reserved for special cargos exceed their expectations, they also demanded that the whole special cargo processes in Istanbul HUB should be organized by a separate team specialized on the handled products, which requires such proficiency due to their characteristics.
